Positive Life Global Empowerment (PLGE) e.V. is a leading charity organization in Hamburg, Germany, formerly known as Nipol e.V. The PLGE is a non-governmental (NGO) dedicated to improving the health, education, infrastructures, human welfare, and opportunities for children, adults and families in rural areas especially in Africa and the globe. This is much more to the poor, vulnerable and the marginalized people.
Positive Life Global Empowerment PLGE has over the years delivered community development projects, providing clothing, mentorship, empowerment of the youth in Africa. We are also working hard to extend our services to Germany.
PLGE is a non-profit association for Promotion of Development Cooperation. Planning and realization of educational events in Germany on the current situation in Africa on the social, ecological and political situation and on the ongoing project planning association.

As a result of global financial crisis, government cuts and poor infrastructures and government unwillingness to develop Africa is creating poverty, illiteracy and high crime rate within communities and families. PLGE has resolved to assist in reducing these burdens on individuals and families with a hugely increasing demand on a very limited budget.
Poverty has risen in Nigeria, with almost 100 million people living on less than a $1 (€0.94) a day, despite economic growth, statistics have shown. The National Bureau of Statistics said 60.9% of Nigerians in 2010 were living in “absolute poverty” – this figure had risen from 54.7% in 2004.Nigerians living in poverty rise to nearly 61% – BBC News (Februar 2012)
Today, nearly 17% of the world’s adult population is still not literate; two thirds of them women, making gender equality even harder to achieve. (UNESCO 2017)
